Description
The active ingredients in these Strepsils Lozenges are 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol and amylmetacresol, both of which are antiseptics that kill bacteria but also help to lubricate the mouth and throat, soothing pain, because of the liquid that dissolves in the mouth when one is sucking on the lozenges. These lozenges work by killing the bacteria in the mouth and throat that is causing the pain and discomfort.
